Welcome to Tandvårdshuset in Älmhult, Ljungby or Alvesta. We provide general dentistry, children's and adolescent dentistry, advanced surgery, cosmetic dentistry and emergency care — with the aim of good oral health for all our patients, young and old.

Since 1984
The first clinic opened in Älmhult. Today we are also in Ljungby and Alvesta.

Our own dental laboratory
Crowns and bridges are made in our own laboratory in Älmhult, close to the treatment rooms.

Healthy smiles for more than 40 years
- 1984
Älmhult
Tandvårdshuset opens its first clinic, offering the people of Älmhult high-quality dental care regardless of age.
- 1989
Growing
We employ a dental hygienist and expand to six treatment rooms.
- 1999
Quality in earnest
Our systematic quality work is confirmed with ISO 9000 certification.
- 2006
National quality award
We receive the national quality award of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, and certify the clinic to ISO 14000.
- 2008
The Swedish Quality Award
We receive the Swedish Quality Award (Utmärkelsen Svensk Kvalitet) from SIQ.
- 2014
Ljungby
Dental care in Ljungby faces a generational shift. Tandvårdshuset takes over, aiming to offer the same care as in Älmhult.
- 2015–2016
Ljungby expands
The Ljungby clinic reopens fully renovated and with more treatment rooms. We also offer specialist care in periodontics and prosthodontics.
- 2023
Alvesta, and a new Älmhult
The need for more dental professionals in the region leads to a new clinic in Alvesta. The same year Älmhult is fully renovated: ten updated treatment rooms with new equipment.
- 2024
40 years
Tandvårdshuset turns 40 — and keeps creating healthy smiles.

We build relationships and provide good dental care for life. That is why our guarantee periods go beyond the usual.

We were the first in the Nordics to certify our practice to ISO 9000 and ISO 14000. We keep training, follow developments in our field and stay at the forefront with our own CBCT scanner, intraoral scanner and milling unit.
