Healthy smiles for more than 40 years

Tandvårdshuset opened in 1984 in the yellow villa on Danska vägen in Älmhult. Since then we have grown to three clinics and our own dental laboratory, but the goal is the same as on the first day: a healthy smile for life.

1. 1984

   Älmhult

   Tandvårdshuset opens its first clinic in the yellow villa on Danska vägen, offering the people of Älmhult high-quality dental care regardless of age.

2. 1989

   Growing

   We employ a dental hygienist and expand to six treatment rooms.

3. 1999

   Quality work in earnest

   Our systematic quality work is confirmed with ISO 9000 certification.

4. 2006

   National quality award

   We receive the national quality award of the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, and certify the clinic to ISO 14000. We are thereby the first dental practice in the Nordic countries certified to both standards.

5. 2008

   The Swedish Quality Award

   We receive the Swedish Quality Award (Utmärkelsen Svensk Kvalitet) from SIQ.

6. 2014

   Ljungby

   Dental care in Ljungby faces a generational shift. Tandvårdshuset takes over, aiming to offer the same care as in Älmhult.

7. 2015–2016

   Ljungby expands

   The Ljungby clinic reopens fully renovated and with more treatment rooms. We also offer specialist care in periodontics and prosthodontics.

8. 2023

   Alvesta, and a new Älmhult

   The need for more dental professionals in the region leads to a new clinic in Alvesta. The same year Älmhult is fully renovated: ten updated treatment rooms with new equipment.

9. 2024

   40 years

   Tandvårdshuset turns 40 and keeps creating healthy smiles.

10. 2026

    Online booking
