Back to school — a good time to register your children for dental care
When the autumn term starts and routines settle into place, it is a good time to review your children's dental care. In Kronoberg, dental care based on a treatment need is free of charge until the end of the year your child turns 19. Patients pay for treatments without a dental care need, for example those carried out solely for cosmetic reasons. We already have 1 900 children and young people in Älmhult, Ljungby and Alvesta registered with us.
Registering your child is simple: call your nearest clinic. The parent or guardian then visits the clinic and signs the form transferring the child's dental care to us (PDF, in Swedish) — you are welcome to fill it in beforehand — and we invite your child for a check-up. No cost.
Another new feature this autumn is that our dental advice is now available online — including the parent's guide to healthy children's teeth, covering what makes the biggest difference at each age.
