Tandvårdshuset opened in 1984 in the yellow villa on Danska vägen in Älmhult. Today we welcome the whole family at three clinics in Älmhult, Ljungby and Alvesta, with the same vision everywhere: a healthy smile for life.
We provide general dentistry, children's and adolescent dentistry, specialist care, implants, cosmetic dentistry and emergency care. Crowns and bridges are made in our own dental laboratory in Älmhult, and our clinicians work closely across the clinics. If you need specialist care, you are referred within Tandvårdshuset rather than to another town. The practice is led by dentist Kristina Elner, who is also our CEO.

First in the Nordics with certified quality and environmental management
Our systematic quality work was confirmed in 1999 with ISO 9000 certification, and in 2006 we certified our environmental management to ISO 14000. We were the first dental practice in the Nordic countries to be certified to both standards. The certificates are not something we hang on the wall and forget: they mean that every part of your visit, from the appointment reminder to how we handle materials and waste, follows routines that are reviewed regularly.

Modern equipment and specialists close at hand
We want to stay at the forefront of technology. We have our own CBCT scanner for three-dimensional images of teeth and jawbone, we scan your teeth digitally instead of taking impressions, and we make crowns and bridges with our own milling unit in the laboratory in Älmhult. This makes the examination quicker and more precise, and adjustments are faster when the dental technician is in the same building.
Specialist care in periodontics and prosthodontics is available within Tandvårdshuset, and we offer orthodontic treatment for adults with Invisalign. Read more about our treatments and about specialist dental care.
