Implants & prosthetics

Missing or damaged teeth can be replaced — with implants, crowns, bridges or dentures. We have our own dental laboratory in Älmhult, with capacity for crown and bridge prosthetics, mock-up models and denture repairs, among other things. That means shorter waiting times, and the dental technician is close at hand when something needs to fit exactly.

Which solution suits when?

• Crown — when a damaged tooth can be saved but needs a new, strong outer shell
• Implant — an artificial titanium root that carries a new crown; the closest thing to your own tooth, requires enough jawbone
• Bridge — replaces one or more teeth by anchoring to the neighbouring teeth
• Denture — full or partial, removable solution

What suits you depends on the condition of the tooth, the jawbone, your bite and your budget. We go through the options with their pros and cons, and you always receive a cost estimate before treatment starts — for larger treatments the Swedish high-cost protection also applies, see Prices.
