How to read the price list
- Our price
- Our price for the procedure before subsidies and reimbursement. It applies when the treatment is carried out by our general dentists or dental hygienists.
- Specialist / complex cases
- The price when the procedure is carried out by a specialist dentist after referral, or when the treatment is particularly extensive. Your cost estimate tells you which price applies to you.
- Reference price
- An amount the state uses when dental care reimbursement is calculated. It is not the same as your price with us. The specialist reference price only applies when you have been referred to a specialist dentist.
- Dash (–)
- There is no price in that column. It does not mean the procedure is free.
How the reference price affects what you pay is explained under Subsidies and high-cost protection. Want the complete price list? Ask at reception.

What is included?
In a check-up with a dentist
The dentist examines your teeth, your gums and the rest of your mouth. You find out whether anything needs treatment and get advice on how to look after your teeth.
The check-up includes the X-rays needed to detect cavities between the teeth (so-called bitewing images). Larger X-ray examinations, such as a panoramic X-ray of the whole jaw, are separate procedures in the price list.
Exactly what procedure 101 includes according to TLV
According to TLV's description, a basic examination with a dentist (procedure 101) includes caries diagnostics, assessment of the gums, oral mucosa and jaw function, risk assessment, health information with self-care advice and the X-rays needed for diagnosis: bitewing images, and if fewer than four are taken, up to four intraoral images may be included. Other X-rays, such as a panoramic X-ray, are separate procedures.
In other treatments
What is included in, for example, a root canal treatment, a crown or whitening is explained by your clinician in the cost estimate, where each procedure is listed separately.
Subsidies and high-cost protection
If you are covered by Swedish social insurance, the state dental care support can reduce your cost. It consists of an annual dental care subsidy and high-cost protection. High-cost protection is deducted when you pay with us. We use your dental care subsidy when you ask us to.
How much dental care subsidy do I get?
| Age | Subsidy per year |
|---|---|
| The year you turn 20–23 | SEK 600 |
| The year you turn 24–65 | SEK 300 |
| From the year you turn 67 | SEK 600 |
You receive the subsidy on 1 July each year, from the year you turn 20. It can be saved until the following year, so that two subsidies can be used together. If you turn 66 in 2026, you receive SEK 600 that year (transitional rule).
How does high-cost protection work?
High-cost protection is calculated on the lower of the reference price and our price, after the subsidy has been deducted, over a continuous twelve-month period. If our price is higher than the reference price, you pay the difference yourself.
| Cost over 12 months | You pay yourself |
|---|---|
| Up to SEK 3,000 | The full amount |
| SEK 3,000–15,000 | 50 % |
| Over SEK 15,000 | 15 % |
The amounts refer to the costs counted towards high-cost protection, which is not always what you have paid. The clinic explains which support applies to your procedures.
Read more in our advice: Dental care subsidies and high-cost protection — how the support works.
What applies from the year I turn 67?
From the year you turn 67, special dental care reimbursement may apply to certain treatments. Since 1 January 2026 you then pay 10 % of the reference price, or of our price if it is lower, and we may not charge more than the reference price for those treatments.
What may be covered?
Certain treatments. For crowns, bridges and implants, the support covers the front ten teeth in each jaw.
What is not covered by this particular support?
Check-ups, preventive care and X-rays. They may instead be covered by general dental care reimbursement. The support is not a discount on the whole price list.
How do I find out what applies to me?
The clinic tells you which of your procedures are covered, and it is stated in your cost estimate.
Special dental care subsidy (STB)
The special dental care subsidy is an extra subsidy for preventive dental care if you have an illness or disability that increases the risk of dental problems. It is a separate subsidy, distinct from the general dental care subsidy, and is not included in the calculator. Read about STB at Försäkringskassan.

Estimated cost
This is an estimate for one procedure under general dental care reimbursement. The subsidy is deducted before high-cost protection. The special dental care subsidy, special dental care reimbursement from the year you turn 67, regional support and procedures not eligible for support are not included. Different rules apply to children and young people. The exact amount is given in your cost estimate. Rules at Försäkringskassan.
Guarantees and payment
Guarantees
- 5-year guarantee on fixed prosthetics, such as crowns and bridges.
- 2-year guarantee on removable prosthetics, such as dentures.
- 1-year guarantee on fillings.
The guarantee periods apply unless otherwise agreed. For care under special dental care reimbursement (from the year you turn 67), 3 years apply to fixed and 1 year to removable prosthetics. The guarantee is our own commitment. The dental care support's rules on when new reimbursement can be paid for redone work are a separate matter. Ask us what applies to you.
Payment
We accept card payment, not cash.
