Every visit with us starts with a conversation about your particular concerns and wishes — only then does the examination begin, with a clear goal based on your needs.

What does a check-up include?

• Examination of teeth, fillings, gums and mucous membranes
• X-rays when needed — radiation doses in dentistry are very low, and the images provide information we cannot see with the naked eye
• Assessment of the risk of caries and periodontitis
• A clear plan: what needs to be done, what it costs and in which order

If something needs treatment, you always receive a cost estimate before major treatment begins. Minor fillings can often be done at the same visit.

How often should you have your teeth examined?

It depends on your oral health. Healthy teeth often manage 1.5–2 years between check-ups, while someone with ongoing problems, many fillings or gum problems may need to come more often. We give you a recommendation that applies to you — never a standard interval for everyone.
